We have decided to use Bank Gothic for our masthead, as despite the name suggesting it is old, it looks relatively modern. This will attract a younger generation to my magazine, as they are becoming more and more interested in modern technologies. Unlike other magazines, we have decided to position it from the right side of the cover, making it different to other magazines and standing out on the shelf of a shop. However, this is only our original idea. It may change depending on the quality and size of the image and if we change our mind as we move on in the project.
As we have put the image in and background colour we have decided to change the font, as it is very basic. Using dafont.com, we were able to locate modern fonts that will suit the urban style magazine that we are trying to create. It will remain behind the head of the model, so that the model looks bigger and stand out more.
