New Headline Style

The hew headline will be in the colour of the lipstick that is on the front cover, continuing the brand identity and the femininity that we want to brand in our article to our audience so that women are seen as striving in the industry, rather than the men. The font will be in the style of the lipstick as if she is rubbing it on the page, this seems as if she is leaving a mark on the page, displaying connotations of the music and character that she has made in the hip-hop/R&B industry. This continues the identity of the artist, which we will then put the brand identity colour yellow in at some stage of the development.

The lipstick idea was inspired from the front cover of a single made by David Guetta called "Sexy Chick". Despite being from the dance industry, the font is still powerful and we believe it can be used with our chosen artist. The headline style replicates lipstick being written on a mirror/piece of paper, which is what we wanted as it is in the colour of the lipstick she is wearing, replicating the colour of the text on the front cover. The colour is a dark purple colour, which replicates the feminine view that we wanted to create, as it makes clear that a woman means business in the hip-hop/R&B industry, which contrasts with our original idea of using male artists.
