Like our double page spread, we have decided to put a border on the top to maintain the house style and show that it is a modern magazine. The black and yellow lines replicate what we are trying to put all the way through our magazine, so that our style is kept and that our brand will be remembered by the reader.
As we had space on the bottom of the contents page, we have put it on there also but facing the other way, to provide a symmetrical design to our magazine. Once we moved the advertisement around, we could add this border on the double page spread, so that we maintain a house style. This however is not maintained on our left page, as we want to emphasise the influence that our artist has on the music industry, and making her burst out of that border really emphasises this.
